About
Naret (Teran spelled backwards) is a traditional Karst wine made from the Refošk grape variety. The region’s soils and climate give the wine its characteristic ruby color, lively acidity and recognizable minerality.
Wine from Refošk grapes has a long history in the Karst and was part of everyday life for centuries. Thanks to its freshness and natural stability, it remained reliable even before modern refrigeration and was traditionally enjoyed young.
In the glass, Naret shows notes of sour cherry, raspberry and wild berries, supported by earthy and slightly saline undertones. The palate is dry and medium-bodied, with lively acidity, light tannic texture and a clean finish.
It pairs especially well with Karst prosciutto, cured meats, stews and grilled dishes.
