About

Teja is a blend of two traditional varieties from the Karst and Mediterranean regions - Vitovska Grganja and Malvasia. Blended wines like this have long been part of Karst winemaking, offering balance and consistency even in demanding vintages.

The wine reflects the characteristics of the Karst environment: limestone soils, strong bora winds and dry conditions. These factors help preserve freshness while developing texture and mineral character.

The nose opens with notes of dried citrus peel, pear, quince, Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice. On the palate the wine is dry, fuller-bodied and structured, with gentle tannins, fresh acidity and a long finish.

It pairs well with aged cheeses, fish, shellfish and vegetable-based dishes.
